Thanksgiving is no ordinary holiday. It’s my favorite one as it’s celebrated by people of every religion and belief—Christians, Jews, Muslims, Hindus, Buddhists, non-believers. Every November, my memories of past gatherings resurface, filled with warmth and connection, despite the fact that I only have one photograph of a gathering.
